During our time in Glencoe, we did quite a lot of exploring - there's so much to see and find, you find your self just driving and driving and as you come around another bend, your jaw drops once again with such dramatic views.

We followed the River Etive along its path, stopping at various points along the way before we ended up at Loch Etive; the weather wasn't great, but it enabled Andrea to get this lovely view - makes an ideal moody black and white fine art print, although Andrea may have other words to describe it considering how many times she had to wipe rain from the lenses front element.

Loch Etive is large - it's a 30k sea loch; If you followed the loch to the point it reaches the sea, you be at at Connel and only 5km north of Oban. It measures 1934 miles long and up to 1 mile wide with depths varying greatly to 600 foot (200m).
