When most photographers think of Glencoe, they think of Buachaille Etive Mòr - many dream of snow on it. I was lucky enough to call through Glencoe on the way to the Isle of Skye hoping on the way that the snow I'd heard had fallen would still be there.

As this fine art print shows, there was still plenty of lying snow on the sides of the buckle (Stob Dearg, or better know as Buachaille Etive Mòr), although most of it had gone from the banks of the river Etive.

Stob Dearg is the highest and most prominent peak of Buachaille Etive Mòr and without a doubt, one of the most famous sights in Glencoe, or the Highlands even. You just can't miss this stunning pyramid rock as you travel down the A82 through Rannoch Moor.
